Go to Pass Zambla – take the main road dirt road on the right (beginning of the trail) – proceed to Step up the spreader at a big white house with red shutters – continue taking over the right for about 300m – the trail on the left: There is a wooden sign on a tree with the inscription Calchera.

After about an hour and a quarter walk is a cross (marked by the CAI): the right to continue the cross dell'Alben, on the left goes’ the Refuge Nembrini (15′) where he is nailed to a wall of rock climbing, with different ways (one of these is the way of chocolate).
From Nembrini you can still reach the Cross in about half an hour.
From here on, the trail becomes slightly more challenging: the terrain is mostly rocky boulders that you have to walk on uneven.
